Transition

Preparing to leave. Ensuring nothing you've built is wasted.

The Starting Point, Not the Identity

Transition is where many people first encounter the ROSE Network. But it is not what the network is about. It is the door you walk through — not the room you stay in.

You have spent years developing professional judgement, analytical capability, and operational discipline that most civilians will never understand. The ROSE Network exists to ensure those capabilities translate into your next career — not by placing you in a role, but by connecting you with people who have already made the same journey and can speak honestly about what lies ahead.

What Transition Provides

Mentoring

One-to-one guidance from Intelligence Corps veterans who understand your background and have navigated the same transition.

Career Awareness

Understanding the professional landscape beyond the military — what sectors value your skills and where the real opportunities lie.

Sector Insight

Candid, first-hand accounts from veterans working in your target sector. Not generic career advice — real professional intelligence.

Confidence Building

The assurance that comes from knowing you are not doing this alone — and that the people advising you have done it themselves.

How Mentoring Works

Mentoring is the primary mechanism through which Transition delivers value. It is veteran-led, judgement-based, time-bound, and purpose-driven.

Mentors are Intelligence Corps veterans with direct experience of transition and civilian careers. Guidance is tailored and candid — grounded in real professional experience rather than generic frameworks. Each engagement has a clear purpose and defined duration.

Transition support also encompasses practical guidance on CV preparation, interview technique, relevant courses and qualifications, and understanding the professional landscape beyond the military.

What Comes Next

Transition is a stage, not a destination. Once you have made the move into civilian life, you do not leave the network — you graduate into the Professional Network.

The connections you make during transition become the foundation of a lifelong professional community. The mentor who guided your preparation becomes a peer. The forum you attended becomes your network. The ROSE Network grows with you.

The ROSE Network does not provide job brokerage, placement services, or any form of commercial recruitment activity. It facilitates mentoring and introductions only.
