1. About These Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website at rose.roseandlaurel.uk ("the Site"), operated by The ROSE Network as a function of the Intelligence Corps Association (ICA), Registered Charity No. 1175211 ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing and using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use this Site.

2. About The ROSE Network

The ROSE Network (ICA Resettlement & Support for Employment 'Rose' Network) is a professional network supporting the Intelligence Corps community. It operates within the governance framework of the Intelligence Corps Association, a registered charity in England and Wales.

3. Use of the Site

You may use this Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Use the Site in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server on which it is hosted, or any server, computer, or database connected to it.
  • Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
  • Use the Site to collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from other users.
  • Misrepresent your identity, service status, or affiliation with the Intelligence Corps or Armed Forces.

4. Nature of the Service

The ROSE Network provides information, mentoring facilitation, and professional networking services to the Intelligence Corps community. It is important to understand that:

  • We are not a recruitment agency. The ROSE Network does not act as a recruitment broker, commercial intermediary, or employment agency. Any employment opportunities shared through the network are passed on in good faith as a service to the community.
  • We do not provide job brokerage. We do not place individuals in roles, negotiate employment terms, or act as an intermediary in any recruitment or selection process.
  • We do not broker contracts. The network facilitates introductions only. It does not broker contracts, act as a commercial referral service, or provide placement services of any kind.
  • Mentoring is voluntary. Mentoring relationships facilitated through the network are voluntary, structured, and time-bound. We do not guarantee outcomes from mentoring engagements.

5. Intellectual Property

The content on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and the overall design, is the property of the Intelligence Corps Association or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

The ROSE Network name and logo are used under the authority of the Intelligence Corps Association. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

6. Information Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure the information on this Site is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that:

  • The content on this Site is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times.
  • The Site will be available without interruption.
  • Any employment opportunities, events, or other information shared through the network will remain current.

You should verify any information obtained from this Site before acting upon it, particularly in relation to career decisions, employment opportunities, or professional qualifications.
