Pillar Three

Enterprise

Creating opportunity. Not just finding it — making it.

Beyond Employment, Into Enterprise

Most veteran networks stop at employment. They help people find roles, make introductions, and move on. The ROSE Network goes further — because its members do.

Enterprise is the third pillar of the network: the space where professional connection becomes commercial collaboration. Where members do not just access opportunity — they create it. Starting businesses. Forming consulting partnerships. Taking advisory roles. Working together commercially with people they already trust.

This is what happens when you build a network of people with operational discipline, analytical capability, and professional ambition — and then give them the structure to work together.

What Enterprise Looks Like

Starting Businesses

Members launching ventures — independently or together — with the support, introductions, and credibility that a trusted professional network provides.

Consulting Partnerships

Forming consulting and advisory partnerships with fellow members whose complementary expertise and shared professional standards make collaboration natural.

Advisory Roles

Experienced members taking advisory and non-executive positions — contributing strategic insight shaped by operational experience to boards and leadership teams.

Working with British Veteran Owned

The ROSE Network operates within the Intelligence Corps Association, a registered charity. Commercial activity — businesses, partnerships, paid advisory work — cannot and should not sit inside a charitable structure.

That's where British Veteran Owned (BVO) comes in. BVO is an independent organisation that supports veteran-owned businesses across the UK. The ROSE Network and BVO work in collaboration — not because one owns the other, but because the Chairman of The ROSE Network also chairs BVO, and the synergies are obvious.

No money changes hands. It's an efficient use of shared resources: the network provides the community and trusted connections, BVO provides the commercial ecosystem and visibility for veteran-led enterprise. Two independent organisations, aligned by leadership and purpose, each doing what they do best.

The Progression

Enterprise does not exist in isolation. It is the natural extension of a network that already works.

1

Transition

You enter the network. You receive mentoring, sector insight, and the confidence to move into civilian professional life.

2

Professional Network

You contribute. You connect. You build a career surrounded by people who share your background and understand your value.

3

Enterprise

You create. You build businesses, form partnerships, and work commercially with people you already trust — with BVO's support alongside the network.

Ready to Build Something?

If you are an Intelligence Corps veteran with ambition beyond employment — if you want to start a business, form a partnership, or take an advisory role — the Enterprise pillar and our collaboration with BVO can help make it happen.

Enterprise activity sits outside the charitable structure of the Intelligence Corps Association. The ROSE Network facilitates professional connection; British Veteran Owned is an independent collaborator providing the commercial ecosystem for veteran-led enterprise.
